troubleshooting & how-to

  • Please refer to the setup video linked here for step-by-step instructions on how to download and import your planner.

  • Make sure you have Read Only mode turned on in Goodnotes before tapping on hyperlinks. If your hyperlinks aren't working, please send a help request via the Contact Form and I will be happy to assist you!

  • Sometimes this is a lag issue with your application, device or random glitch.

This error can also happen if a linked page is deleted from the planner and reinserted. Deleting pages will cause hyperlinks to break and you will need to reload the entire planner.

Please re-download the planner and re-import into your application to see if the issue is still occurring.

  • I know it's a pain, but make sure you're using Safari to download all files. Google Chrome tends to cause glitches with downloading and importing. If your downloads still aren't working, please send a help request via the Contact Form on the website and I will be happy to assist you!

  • This error commonly occurs if you are trying to import a .ZIP file into your app. Make sure you've unzipped the file by tapping on it in your Files app. You can import the individual PDF files into your app.

  • Whoops! Despite checking and re-checking 8 million hyperlinks, there may be a rare error that can be easily fixed and updated. If you think you may have found an error, please send me a message via the Contact Form and I'll get it taken care of ya little detective.

Digital Planning

  • Digital planning is just like paper planning but you can duplicate, erase, and re-write until your heart is content. You can plan on electronic devices like laptops, phones, and tablets like the iPad. Digital planners are usually PDF files with built-in hyperlinks that allow you to jump from page to page with ease.

  • Nope! This digital planner is not an app. It's a PDF file with build in hyperlinks meant to be used within a notetaking application like Goodnotes.

  • No. The content you write in your planner will not sync with any calendar app.

  • You're going to need a tablet device (like an iPad), and you will need to know how to navigate and use note taking applications like Goodnotes and Notability. The planner relies heavily on the functions and features of these applications.

compatibility

  • I recommend using an iPad that has software still being maintained by Apple. Click here for a list of iPad models compatible with the latest iPadOS.

  • For planning, you will want to us an iPad device so you can use the Apple Pencil. You can still view your planner wherever you have Goodnotes synced.

  • No. It is not compatible with OneNote.

  • The planner is optimized for the iPad, but you can still use it on Android notetaking applications. Goodnotes released an Android application. iPad is still recommended for the best experience with the planner.
